The Mayans chose Dec. 21, 2012 as the end of their calendar... the question is, were they prophecying the end of the world, or was Newton right in his 2060 prediction, or are we all just being ridiculous? People have prophecied the end of the world since time began... and we know the world has ended several times before... we can see extinction events in the evidence of soil, the history books of the earth... the question is, are we nearing another extinction event? Huge dispersals of methane caused one extinction before, the BP oil spill cracking the fragile earth plates releasing methane on catastrophic levels did worry me... humanity has been poisoning ourselves with chemicals for 100 years, thanks Monsanto for your help in immanentizing this particular eschaton... now is the time to meditate, to get ourselves clear, because speculation is speculation, but death is certain, whether it comes to one or all, we are in the Kali Yuga, escalating unrest, pestilence and destruction, we are consuming ourselves. Many of us fight against this destruction, but the powers that be ushering it in are pervasive, far-reaching and like Leviathan, have tentacles in every market around the world... you must destroy the head.
