Vol 1

Not a fan of the Kill Bill series though I am a huge fan of the moviers that inspired the Kill Bill series.

Vol 2

Yes, I found this movie ended as a complete rip off to the Jet Li film Kiss of the Dragon, and that was disappointing to me, in the film's defense, I was glad the movie was a more traditional martial arts film then vol 1.

Carradeine, and Thurman were incredible, and the movie was watchable and oftentimes, enjoyable. Vol 1 was a pen and ink drawing with little detail just outlining Vol 2 was made to color it in and add some detail... I think they accomplished this very well.

Overall a waste of time and money. I loved Samuel Jackson as the wedding organist, The end of Volume 2 was a rip off of the Jet Li movie Kiss of the Dragon. Volume 1 was a pointless death fest with the worst dialog ever, and not even ironically or historically interesting, or witty, or insightful, but I'm not a fan of Tarrantino, so that's just the way it goes. Save your money and watch Chiaki Kuriyama in Battle Royale instead.
